A New Twist On The Zombie Apocalypse
The story starts out in the hills of West Virginia in the middle of winter. It is snowing outside the cabin as Christa sits by the fire writing her latest book. She went to the cabin to find solitude to write and get away from it all.
Later that evening she goes to sleep upstairs, but awakens abruptly due to a noise downstairs. She knows all the doors were locked when she went to bed. She grabs a baseball bat and proceeds to walk downstairs slowly, carefully assessing everything as she went. The cabin was dark for the most part, but she proceeded anyhow. The noise got louder and louder as she made her way down the stairs and through the living room. She finally turned the corner, heading towards the kitchen and she abruptly swings!
What Christa found in that kitchen forever changes her life. There's no going back now. Nothing will ever be the same again.
Damion and Christa have been together since middle school. She needs to make her way from the solitude of the hills of West Virginia to find him and their daughter, Bree, in Morgantown. She just hopes she is not too late.
Christa needs to find Damion and Bree. Damion is her long time love and Bree is their daughter. If she does find them, will it be what she expected? Is it already too late for them?
"People come and go in this world. So excuse me if I don't remember your name. I'm not being rude. I just know soon it won't matter what your name is because you won't be around."
